Farmacy Very Cherry Bright 15% Vitamin C Serum: Review
Hi everyone! It’s been awhile since my last review, but I wanted to sit down and talk about one of my recent favorite products! The Farmacy Very Cherry Bright Serum has been raved about for awhile now. I did a poll not too long ago asking if you guys wanted me to review it—the answer was a huge resounding YES, which is why I’m here!
Let’s break the product down first and foremost!
One of Farmacy’s latest drops is this baby, a 15% Vitamin C serum formulated with Acerola Cherry. I’ve been loving Vit C products lately, so when this was announced, I was absolutely thrilled. Farmacy is probably one of my favorite brands out there, and my skin LOVES their products, so obviously I was ready to give this one a go.
As mentioned on Sephora’s website, Very Cherry Bright is “a potent 15 percent vitamin C serum powered by four types of vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid to visibly brighten, firm, and hydrate skin without irritation” - all of this is music to my ears! Like I mentioned earlier, I love Vit C and I LOVE Hyaluronic Acid, so this product is a dream.
VCB can be used on all skin types, and is best for those concerned with dullness/uneven texture, fine lines + wrinkles, and loss of firmness / elasticity.
This is a lightweight serum, and like mentioned earlier, it includes four types of Vitamin C - 15% total. All of this Vit C goodness will help to brighten, firm, and fight free radicals, as well as reduce any signs of aging you may have. Sephora’s website also states that Acerola Cherry - the highlighted ingredient in VCB - is one of the richest sources of natural Vit C on the planet. 3-Glyceryl Ascorbate and 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid are two other showcased ingredients, which are known to deliver lasting hydration, improve skin texture, and brighten.
How delicious does all of this sound?!
And of course, as usual with Farmacy products, VCB is vegan, cruelty-free and gluten-free.
So, how do I feel about it? I LOVE it. No surprise there! I really, really appreciate how lightweight this serum is, especially since I like to use it in the mornings. It leaves NO tacky feeling behind, another huge plus for me. I’ve noticed my skin to be a lot brighter, and my uneven texture has diminished, which is something I was really struggling with. This is a wonderful Vitamin C option, and I really, really love what VCB + Farmacy products in general have done for my skin. I don’t deal with many dark spots, so I can’t attest for that. However, it has brightened my skin a good bit, so I have high hopes for those with dark spots.
I normally use this in the morning, like I mentioned before. Farmacy states that it can be used AM/PM but I prefer to just use it in the morning, before moisturizing + SPF!
Have you had success with this product? Let me know! I’d love to hear what you think!
That’s it until next time!
