How was everyone’s week? Grab a glass of wine and relax, it’s time for another blog post!

Let’s talk about Herbivore Botanicals - a brand that has slowly but surely become one of my favorites!

I purchased my first jade roller from HB over a year ago, and that’s when I first discovered my love for the brand - it’s been a happy, healthy relationship ever since <3

I’ve now tried a handful of their skincare + body products, and I’m here to talk about which ones are my favorites!

NOTE: Herbivore Botanicals sent these products over to me for free, but all opinions are 100% my own.

First, my current favorite that I use almost every single day:

The Jasmine Green Tea Balancing Toner

Here’s the website’s description: “Organic Jasmine Water is infused with oil - reducing antioxidant rich Green Tea, blemish fighting White Willow Bark, soothing Aloe Vera and toning Witch Hazel in this botanically balancing blend.”

First of all, Jasmine scented ANYTHING is automatically at the top of my list. It’s a weakness that I have. So from the start, I loved this. But aside from the scent, this is just so damn good. It’s light and refreshing, and I love how it makes me skin look + feel.

I use this morning and night, and during the day if I feel like I need any sort of instant refresher! I love this, and the glass bottle packaging is so sleek and beautiful.

Next, let’s talk about oils!

Orchid - Lush, exotic floral oils give skin a bright new glow while gently preserving its youth and replenishing hydration. An exquisite blend of Orchid Extract, precious Jasmine Sambac, and Japanese Camellia Flower Oil combine to defend against free radicals, increase elasticity, and feed the skin with beneficial vitamins and fatty acids such as Omega 3 and 6 to protect against premature aging.”

Another product that smells absolutely incredible. A little bit of this oil goes along way, though, and I learned that the hard way. I tend to have a heavy hand with a lot of dropper-bottle products for whatever reason. The first time I tried this, I looked like an absolute oil slick lol. BUT, I’ve since learned, and I now use this whenever I feel my skin needs an extra dose of hydration! This sinks into the skin beautifully and feels so luxurious.

Lapis - “Lapis Lazuli, a favorite stone of ancient Egypt, is known for its gorgeous deep blue color. Lapis Facial Oil is named for the precious blue oil it contains, Blue Tansy. This oil holds a component called Azulene which acts as a powerful anti-inflammatory and antibacterial that aids in reducing redness and clarifying the complexion. Formulated for combination, oily, and blemish-prone skin types or any skin in need of relief from inflammation.”

This is an oil that I haven’t had a chance to use as often as I’d like, simply because I’ve been testing a ton of other oils and haven’t rotated this one in yet. But, I feel like I’m going to absolutely love it. I’ve used it a couple times - while my skin was going through this phase of sprinkling congestion-related bumps all over my forehead. It seemed to work well for me, and I can’t wait to try it out more frequently since - like I’ve mentioned before - I struggle with redness and inflammation.

Moving on from the oils,

Moon Fruit - An other worldly multi-tasking night treatment that feeds skin with superfruits, gently resurfaces with fruit enzymes and hydrates deeply with a blend of exotic butters and bio-identical vegan Hyaluronic Acid all while you sleep.”

Oh my GOD - as soon as I heard (and saw) this product drop, I was intrigued and obsessed. Let’s state the obvious and get that out of the way - it’s absolutely BEAUTIFUL. The packaging is gorgeous, the product is gorgeous - just … wow. I use this before bed, as instructed. However, I’m still trying to tweak the perfect routine revolving around this because it tends to pill if I use too many products underneath it :( I’ve also seen a lot of people comment on the scent, and while it is strong and almost medicinal (in my opinion), it dissipates quickly and you don’t smell it after the initial application! I do really enjoy this, I’m just trying to make it work for me + my routine.

AND last, but not least,

Rose Quartz Illuminating Body Oil - “Glowing. Rose. Hydration. Inspired by the gemstone, Rose Quartz Illuminating Body Oil gives you deeply hydrated, glow-y, and subtly luminous skin. Formulated with the very best oils and infused with an aromatic blend of Moroccan Rose & Jasmine Grandiflorum. This is luxurious skincare for your whole body.”

In person, this is absolutely stunning. The perfect amount of shimmer and glow - it’s subtle and natural, yet still so beautiful. This also smells incredible (I told ya’ll I love Jasmine), and looks so perfect sitting on your vanity or in product shots. This is a MUST HAVE for summer time, and unfortunately since it’s still cold out, I haven’t used this nearly as much as I’ve been yearning to. But this summer, I’ll definitely run out of this gorgeous product.

That’s it for this week’s post!

I hope you all found this informative! I also wanted to mention that Herbivore just sent Dax and I their newest product - the Coconut Body Oil! If you'd like to see a review on that as well, just let us know over on IG! We'd be happy to do that for you guys :)

You can catch me back here next week, same time / same place.

Thank you for the never-ending love and support!
